Hornsby to Berrowa Walk (Sydney) - 18/02/06

The Hornsby to Berrowa walk is part of the "Great North Walk" and is about 26km and goes via the Crossland Reserve . It was to be a long and very hot day (nearly 40 degrees by the time we got close to Berrowa), and gave Tara a real taste of an Australian summer. What normally would take about 4 hours would take 7. A few more stops and a bit more time to enjoy the view. This particular walk is part of the OXFam Trail Walk that I completed last year, and you really don't get too much time to enjoy the view.

While the path was generally clearly marked and well maintained, we did manage to lose the path a couple of times due to fallen trees and the path being overgrown. This added a bit adventure to the day.

Heading down Galston Gorge.
