Which way is North???

With backpacks packed, compasses dusted off, maps contacted. We were all ready to begin the 44th Paddy Pallin Rogaine at Rydal. With all the rain that had fallen over the last 2 weeks, the river that split the course was now a hazard, so the organisers made the area out of bounds.

This was going to be Cal, Michiel and Phil's first rogaine, we started pretty conservatively, but as the day continued we started to make more of a bee line to the controls. It was a pretty hilly course and fun was had by all, but I think the others realised that a bit more endurance training would need to be done before the next event. With the course shortened a max of 1050 points were up for grabs, we gathered 480 (in 5hr30min).

Check out our route, a few mistakes, but pretty happy we just need to increase out pace.
